For almost twenty years I have read Roger’s reviews and agree with him about 98% of the time. Knowing that I can rely on him has kept me waiting with bated breath each Friday morning to read his column. Roger has warned me countless times about disastrous plots (whiched saved me a lot of money) and he has also opened my eyes to several hidden gems.
I’ve always had a great respect and admiration for him but never realized until his recent illness that I care about him as if he is a member of my family.
If I don’t get a report about his health at least once a week I get nervous and imagine that the reason for the delay is because he is gravely ill, so I was a bit relieved to read the update on August 17th that came directly from him.
First I pray that he has a complete recovery and second that hopefully he will have the strength and desire to stay in contact with his millions of admirers for years to come.
