Just Getting Started

Just Getting Started never really gets going. It only kept me thinking, “Is this ever just going to finish?”

The Rape of Recy Taylor

A documentary with a great subject and powerful testimony, undone by its unnecessarily obtrusive style.

Primary eb19680128people801280301ar

Robert Blake said he was fed up with being interviewed and smiling at strangers. He wanted to go someplace and listen to loud music. Fate led him to The Store, that famous Rush Street place where all the young folk congregate who aren't getting any younger.

Luis Bunuel's No Exit Signs

One of the little creatures, naturally, is Ruby Keeler.
