On this day, fourteen years ago, Mayor Richard M. Daley and the Chicago City Council declared July 12th, 2005, as Roger Ebert Day in the City of Chicago. Footage of the dedication was uploaded on our official Roger Ebert YouTube channel, and I couldn’t resist sharing it with all of you today. Wishing all of you a Happy Roger Ebert Day and a great time at the movies!
