"Life Itself" Opens at Siskel Center

Roger Ebert and Gene Siskel, the iconic dynamic duo of film critics, will be reunited once again when "Life Itself," Steve James' acclaimed documentary based on Ebert's 2011 memoir of the same name, opens at the Gene Siskel Film Center for a week-long run starting at 6pm tonight, Friday, September 5th. James will be on hand for a post-film Q&A after the 8pm screening on Monday, September 8th. For tickets and showtimes, click here.

The director will also participate in audience discussion at the 1pm and 7pm screenings of the film on Wednesday, September 17th, at the Lake Theatre in Oak Park.
