In this interview by film journalist Katherine Tulich, Steve Coogan describes how he explored a more serious side to write and star in the highly praised new film “Philomena“, based on the 2009 investigative book by BBC correspondent Martin Sixsmith. Played in the movie by Judi Dench it describes the remarkable journey this Irish woman undertook to find the son that was taken from her 50 years earlier.
