While Samuel L Jackson has acted in more than 100 feature films, “Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children” is the first time he has worked with director Tim Burton. In this fantasy film based on the popular children’s book by Ransom Rigg, Jackson transforms into the sinister Mr. Barron, the leader of the Wights, the immortal rogue peculiars who hunt and kill young peculiars. He tells film reporter Katherine Tulich in this video interview about his experience working with Burton and how he feels a personal connection with feeling peculiar himself as a child.
