My key central barometer

From Dr. Jan Richard Goldsmith:

I hope that you are soon well and recovered from your illness. Reading the many various movie reviews, while your review is not amongst them, has little to no relevance for me.

It is your review, and only your review, that has been my "key central barometer" for my deciding whether or not to consider seeing a movie for the past many decades. Therefore, from a rather self-serving prospective, it is essential that you get well and rebegin to write your movie reviews. That is how relevant your work contributions have long been to me.

Roger Ebert

Roger Ebert was the film critic of the Chicago Sun-Times from 1967 until his death in 2013. In 1975, he won the Pulitzer Prize for distinguished criticism.
