I just read your “Crash” article, and wow — you got it dead-on accurate! It’s a shame too, in my top 10 list, I had “Crash” as my #1, and “Brokeback Mountain” as my #2. Suddenly, when “Crash” won, I was told that because I thought “Crash” was the best movie of the year, people were telling me that I was a homophobe.

It’s amazing how some critics can act nowadays. By attacking “Crash” and defending “Brokeback” becasue of its politics, they’re even worse than the ones on the right for demonizing it. Let the movie stand on its own terms — a beautiful motion picture…. but let “Crash” stand on its own terms, too — a better one. 🙂
