Steve Slaton, KZOK-FM, Seattle, WA:

You don't know me from Adam (or Eve either) but I wanted to let you know you have been in my thoughts. Simply said, you are the best movie critic of all time.

You are also a funny and engaging guest. I remember you once saying the Beatles "A Hard Day's Night" was one of your favorite movies. I host a Beatles radio show in Seattle so I have gotten plenty of mileage out of that tidbit.

I hope you're feeling better soon and the next time you're in Seattle you have a standing offer for a free cup of coffee and a lift to "Scarecrow" the greatest video store in America.

Roger Ebert
