In his third film with New Zealand born director Andrew Niccol (“Gattaca,” “Lords of War”), Ethan Hawke plays Major Thomas Egan, a US Air Force pilot who is now flying drones instead of real planes from the safety of a bunker in Las Vegas. Niccol gives us a frightening portrayal of modern warfare where real life targets are as easy to hit as a video game.
