“Jupiter Ascending,” the latest piece from directors Lana and Andy Wachowski, was once going to be one of the biggest films of summr 2014. After a few misfires at the box office, Warner Bros. didn’t want to risk adding another one to that side of the ledger, and so they delayed the film until 2/6/15, aggravating fans eager to see the latest vision from the directors of “The Matrix” and “Cloud Atlas.” Despite the delay, there’s still enough buzz around “Jupiter Ascending” that travelers to Fantastic Fest this week were hoping it would be the secret screening. No luck there, but perhaps WB’s timing in releasing this excellent new trailer was a response to the growing anticipation.
