Last week, we announced that my late husband, Roger Ebert, and his longtime partner in criticism, Gene Siskel, will be memorialized with a bronze statue at Prudential Plaza here in Chicago, designed by acclaimed Illinois sculptor Preston Jackson.

To raise money for the campaign, Chicago film producer Pam Kasper has started a fundraising campaign via Heritage Auctions, in partnership with Chicago Gateway Green, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

The charity auction, which runs through Saturday, November 14th, has over 300 television and movie items for sale, including vintage film posters and lobby cards signed by stars such as Julie Andrews, Tom Cruise, Robert De Niro, Tom Hanks, Dustin Hoffman, Helen Mirren, Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep and Denzel Washington, as well as cast-signed posters from “The Sound of Music,” “The Big Lebowski” and “The Odyssey.”

Here is a selection of our favorite items up for bid, along with direct links to each lot. (Descriptions come courtesy of Heritage Auctions.)

All auction items are available for viewing at auction.siskelandebertstatue.org. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

“The Bear” Cast Signed Apron

Bearing the signatures of Jeremy Allen White (Carmy), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Richie), Ayo Edebiri (Sydney), Lionel Boyce (Marcus), Liza Colón-Zayas (Tina), Abby Elliott (Sugar), Matty Matheson (Neil Fak), Molly Gordon (Claire), and Corey Hendrix (Gary “Sweeps” Woods), this The Bear apron was donated by the FX series’ creator, Christopher Storer. Its portrait of the pressure and camaraderie of a Chicago kitchen became a cultural touchstone and an Emmy record breaker, bringing acting wins to White, Moss-Bachrach, Edebiri, and Colón-Zayas while raising the profile of its ensemble.

An apron with bright color and a clean overall appearance. It may have general signs of use, such as light edge and surface wear, a few stray threads, unobtrusive smudges, and wrinkles and folds consistent with storage.

“Ghostbusters II” Harold Ramis Personal Crew Jacket

Offered here is Harold Ramis’ Ghostbusters II (1989) crew jacket, generously donated by Erica Mann Ramis, providing an extraordinary tangible connection to the writer, director, and actor who helped define modern cinematic comedy through anarchic wit, intellectual irony, anti-authoritarian satire, and deeply human stories of redemption. As the sole direct sequel to reunite the original cast and creative team, Ghostbusters II expanded the mythology of its predecessor while retaining the irreverent humor and unlikely-hero ethos that made the franchise a landmark of American popular cinema. Ramis’ contributions to the series-and to films such as Animal House, Caddyshack, National Lampoon’s Vacation, and Groundhog Day-helped establish a distinctly modern comedic language in which eccentric outsiders, intellectuals, and everyday underdogs could become unlikely heroes. With its direct provenance to Ramis, this jacket is not merely a piece of Ghostbusters memorabilia, but a remarkable artifact of the creative legacy of one of the most influential comedic voices in American film history.

Crew jacket appears in pristine condition. Chest-inch is size 44, which translates to a modern Men’s Large (L). For a garment over 35 years old, it shows zero signs of age-no fading, no pilling, no stains, and the elastic cuffs and hem remain perfectly crisp. Comes with an LOA from PSA.

Two thumbs up for Two Thumbs Up! This is a special opportunity to spend 30 minutes with the one and only Henry Winkler! From his iconic role as “The Fonz” on Happy Days to his Emmy-winning performance in Barry and a remarkable career spanning more than five decades, Henry Winkler has become one of the most beloved figures in entertainment. The winning bidder will enjoy a private 30-minute Zoom conversation with Henry-talk Hollywood, acting, favorite roles and behind-the-scenes stories with an absolute Hollywood legend.

Cast and Writer Signed “Sicario” Script

Presented here is a script held in a leather case with its title page signed by writer Taylor Sheridan and actors Emily Blunt and Josh Brolin. Comes with a drawstring bag.

An unrestored script that appears virtually unused. Closer inspection may reveal one or two minor flaws, such as edge wear, tearing, and handling wear. Comes with an LOA from PSA.

Super Groovy “Brady Bunch” House Tour With Christopher “Peter” Knight

A guaranteed Sunshine Day! The winning bidder and three guests will enjoy an exclusive, private tour of one of the most iconic houses in television history, meticulously renovated to recreate the original Brady Bunch set in Studio City, California.

Best of all, you’ll get to ask everyone’s favorite middle brother, Christopher “Peter” Knight, all of your behind-the-scenes questions about making the show.
